Temptation and bratting skip through life hand in hand. The theory behind disciplining an adult brat is that it will teach them on future occasions to avoid the temptation to give in to their bratty nature. Does this work? In the short term, sometimes. In the long term, very rarely. The root of the problem is part of the nature of being a true brat, is being vulnerable to those juicy opportunities
