Remembrance Sunday
Because I posted the main remembrance post on Armistice Day this year does not mean that I have forgotten that it is Remembrance Sunday in the UK. To mark the event here is a little clip taken at the Menin Gate in Ieper (Ypres) of a few of the highlights of the service there on the 11th of November, including the playing of the last post. The weather was less than pleasant, which reminded me of a line from a poem………
And all this rain is falling tears
of rifle men and fusiliers
