Thought For The Week

A Thought From A Great Thinker

OK so this Thought may not be directly spanking or kink related but it does have to do pain and posteriors and when I saw that it came from one of the worlds greatest ever thinkers and theorists, I just new that it had to be posted in this little Friday feature.

When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second

When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour

That’s relativity.

  1. It’s so easy to explain complex theories using simple words, isn’t it? 😉 Thanks for the laugh, Prefectdt!

  2. I had a post re Einstein – all in good fun (well, “he” was writing the formula down on a blackboard for a spanking) and I incurred the wrath of some very serious person, lecturing me about not understanding Einstein and making a mockery of him. (roll eyes)

And your post again reminds me again that Einstein had the most wonderful sense of humour. As in the above quote. And honestly? I think he would have been tickled pink by his words being adapted to suit all types of situations – it remains his words, after all.

    Loved this, Prefectdt!

  3. Yes we’re very sensitive about our hero. AND you would be surprised how many people only remember this explanantion, and think it is serious!! Now I’m going to have to find Raven’s post…where’s my red pencil 😉

  4. That’s a good one. You’ve got to hand it to Einstein – he’s not just a pretty face.

  5. The worst thing is that your perception of time is an acceleration, with each increment of time becoming a smaller part of your total perception. When you were a small child and your mother said something wouldn’t happen for an hour it seemed an eternity. By now, what’s an hour , a month, a year? How many times have you heard an old man say something like “Why is everybody in such a hurry these days?” when it just seems that way to him.

Back to spanko relativity, corner time- an eternity, walking back from the willow tree with the switch – never long enough to get ready.
