The July Page
July is nearly upon us and in this little corner of North West Europe the 30 degree plus (Celsius) temperatures are heralding the start of the Summer Holiday season and so it is time for the July page of the blog calendar. This month features an image found at MarQe ‘s Study. I chose this image because I liked the costumes of this period piece and the unusual angle and lighting of the image intrigued me.
As always the calendar is formatted to be printed on an A4 piece of paper, so why not print one off and take it along to your local history society and see if they can give you a date for the costumes in the image.
If you want to donate or suggest an image for the blog calendar please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org . As you can see the source of the image is credited on the calendar and linked to in the post.
