Thought For The Week

Getting a bit too high and mighty, a lot of people do it. whether it be because of social position, job rank, or just an overblown sense of self, it is not acceptable and it is not uncommon to find people in this world who need to be taken down a peg or two. Luckily for us spankees there is an easy way that this can be achieved, which brings us to this weeks Thought.


A well thrashed posterior is a reminder that no matter how high the throne one sits on

one sits on one’s bottom

Actually its’ from Michel de Montaigne, in one of his famous Essais: “Même sur le trône le plus elevé du monde, si ne sommes assis que sur nutre cul.” (Jolly Sir John Harington transkates this, in his 1596 Metamorphosis of Ajax, as “The proudest monarch on the highest Throne is stil seated upon his own Arse.”
