Last week The Royal British Legion launched this years Poppy Appeal. It does not matter if you have your remembrance on the 11th of November or on Remembrance Sunday, the 13th of November. It is of equal importance to remember those who gave all to secure our futures and to support those who return and need our help now, as well as the families of those who do not return. Buy a Poppy, make an on line donation or Give a little time. Two links will be added to the side bar, one will go to the home page of The Poppy Appeal and the second will return to this post, for anyone wishing to aid organizations in other countries, from the list below. If anyone knows of any other organizations, please tell me about it in the comment section and I will add them to the list.

The year grows old and it is time once more for the blog calendar page. The month of November is represented by a photographic montage by Waldo. This image was found at Devlin O’Neill’s Web Log.

As always the calendar is formatted to be printed on an A4 piece of paper, so why not print one off and pin it up near the desk of your boss, just to remind him/her what better used that desk could be put to, if only a miniature spankee could be found.
