Tis the night of the epiphany, when the three wise men gave their gifts to a babe in a manger and the parents had to do a runner into the desert, to escape the massacre of the innocents. In short it is the end of the Christmas celebrations and time to look to the new year. And so, as the tree burning ceremonies start in Belgium, the first Thought for this year is about the New Year and it’s relationship to the age of submissives and bottoms.
