A Goodbyeeee – Moving Two Blogs – New Calendar Thingy – And Mr Bean For Gold

Goodbyeeee Accountomax’s House

Accountomax’s House is still there but has not been posted on for some months. This is mostly a picture based blog concentrating on F/x images and still has some good stuff to see but it shows no signs of coming back to life and so it is time to take it off the rolls and wish it’s owner the best for the future.

Moving Spanking Bethie

Spanking Bethie has not been posted on for some time but has gone quiet for long periods in the past and come back to life again. Consequentially it is being moved to the Dormant Blogs page.

Moving Spanking Photography

Spanking Photography has started posting again and is being moved from the Dormant Blogs page to the second blog roll.

A new widget for the side bar

Nearly at the bottom of the side bar is a new widget. It is a second calendar with dates on it that are highlighted, if a post was made on this blog, on that date. You can just click on any highlighted date and you will be taken to the post for that day.

Mr Bean at the Olympics

I suspect that many of you have already seen this but if you haven’t, it’s a scream. It is Mr Bean in the orchestra playing Chariots of Fire, during the opening ceremony of the Olympics. I’m afraid it is a little edited but it was the best working version that I could find.

YouTube keep deleting this clip but you can watch it on THIS PAGE, as long as you do not mind all the ads on that page

Have a safe Olympics 🙂

  4. Ah shame it’s been deleted. It was funny Pref. I loved old Queenie and Bond.

  5. I just finished watching the first hour of the opening ceremonies on the official Canadian site (CTV). Loved Mr. Bean’s part in it, but there were so many very moving segments.

    • It said a lot to me but it was mostly about the history of the country of my birth. I was wondering if it came across as well to people not from the UK.

      • Oh yes, very much so. I had goosebumps all over at the very beginning. Jerusalem is my all-time favourite hymn. I really enjoyed seeing the history of England encapsulated like that. Amazing set changes too.

  6. Glad to hear that it was good for people from other countries as well, Hermione.

  7. Rowan Atkinson was excellent, as always. Ludwig and I watched the opening ceremony and one of my guesses was that either Rowan Atkinson or John Cleese would participate. 🙂
