Blog Calendar – November Page

The November page

This month’s calendar page is being posted a little earlier than usual which will hopefully make up for last month’s page being so late 🙂 The image for this came from Abel’s Tumblr. I know that I am often found to be moaning about the “Lord/Lady of the manor thrashing the servants” type scenarios being over done but I have been watching the latest series of Downton Abbey and my imagination has been filling in some of the between cuts scenes itself and this image was not far off what was in my head at times.

As always the calendar is formatted to be printed on an A4 piece of paper, so why not print a few off and hand them round at your next dinner party, as a suggestion as to what party games you and your guests can play after the meal.

If you want to donate or suggest an image for the blog calendar please contact me at . As you can see the source of the image is credited on the calendar and linked to in the post.

If you like this image or any other in this blog, you can vote for it for the monthly, Top Of The Click Pops by clicking or right clicking on it. The top five are posted at or near the beginning of every month, for the previous months result.

  1. It’s a pleasure to leave a comment on your drawing of the month. Yes, in the ‘good old day’s ‘ of yore. Each evening in country manor houses, the ritual of females displaying their bare bottom to the master of the house, be it family ‘upstairs’. or staff ‘downstairs, was a certainty. Yes, and applied to their naked derriere’s could be a hand, paddle, hairbrush, birchrod, cane, or whip. When such female’s were naughty.

  2. I love the picture too. I’m currently watching the new Upstairs, Downstairs on TV and Berkeley Square on DVD, and that ‘s what comes to mind. Plenty of naughty servants – male and female – in both.
