Licorice reminds me of the scene in Adam’s rib, with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn, where he is first going to shoot her, then after she says what he wanted, then pretends to shoot himself by putting the gun in his mouth, and takes a bite, saying, hmm, I always love licorice.
