I’M THINKING OF MAKING A PADDLE, BUT WHAT KIND SHOULD I MAKE

But I have never owned an implement that looks like a dedicated spanking paddle. And I do like to make my own toys on occasion. It does seem that a dedicated spanking paddle would be within my capabilities to manufacture. At this stage, it is worth pondering the alternatives, before committing to spending the time and money on getting to the end result. So I thought it would be nice if I could get some advice from those of you that have more experience of dedicated spanking paddles, than I do. Here are my questions.

1/ What type of wood is best for a spanking paddle?

2/ Should I start with a smaller, less ambitious paddle, before making a big one?

3/ If I go for a large one, what dimensions (length, width, thickness) are best?

4/ Would you recommend one with holes in or not?

5/ Is a More Oriental style paddle a good idea?

6/ Is there anything else, that I should take into consideration, that I have not thought about?

Any thoughts, knowledge, insights, recommendations or experiences are welcome. At the start of a build project, like this, experience of paddles owned, been on the receiving/giving end of, or even built yourself, are very welcome and could save me from mistakes and tears of frustration. Tears from the paddling, instead would be the ideal outcome 🙂

101 YEARS AGO THE GUNS FELL SILENT

Today in Belgium (Monday 11th November) it is Wapenstilstand Dag (Ceasefire Day). It marks the anniversary of the beginning of the Armistice and the end of the First World War.

And the troops of both sides could return to their loved ones.

Except for those that would never return at all. This day is also a day to remember those from all conflicts who paid the ultimate price to preserve our freedoms. Please take a few minutes to remember them all.

And also remember the families of those who don’t return and those that do return and may need help. You can help them by supporting the organisations, in your country, that help the veterans of conflict. Below is a link to one of those.

AN UPDATE ON CHILD PREDATORS FROM JILLIAN KEENAN

Ms Keenan has posted an update on the situation and so I thought that it would be a good idea to let the viewers of this blog have a chance to see that.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM JILLIAN KEENAN – PLEASE SHARE THIS – NON CONSENTING, PUBLIC SPANKING OF CHILDREN IS UNACCEPTABLE

I was not planning to post today but I think that this is important. JILLIAN KEENAN is an international journalist, author, photographer and open Spanko. Yesterday, on her YOUTUBE CHANNEL, she posted a video highlighting a group of really bad people (Family Pro Spank Workshop) openly advertising, on FACEBOOK, an event involving non consenting children being stripped and spanked at a public event. Please watch this video and if you think it appropriate, post it on your own blog, twitter feed or other social media stream of choice and condemn such activities.

 

MAKE A STAND AGAINST NON CONSENT

 

 

Myself, I will be writing a strongly worded complaint to FACEBOOK, which on it’s own I expect will achieve absolutely nothing but if some of you out there are inclined to do the same maybe we can get someone to listen. Remember, one email is a waste of pixels but a thousand emails will get attention.

Post Update

 

I found it impossible to send an email to Facebook and so instead used their inadequate reporting system, which does not allow you to add details of why you are reporting the group. Then I posted the video on my vanilla Facebook time line. I hope that this will raise some eyebrows over this groups activities.
