Talking to my brother on the phone, a few months ago, I was a little more than surprised when he told me that he and his wife were planing to go and watch his son (my nephew) do his CBT training. After I had finished coughing and spluttering out the tea that I was drinking at the time, it did occur to me that they were taking being understanding parents a bit too far. I mean, it is one thing to know that your offspring is into this kind of thing and be excepting and understanding about it but it is another thing to go along and watch the action. When I inquired about this training, I was informed that he had to do it because he wanted to buy a small motorbike. Apparently if you want to ride a small motorbike or motor scooter (up to 50cc), in the UK you now have to complete Compulsory basic training (CBT) first. So they were going to watch their son do something similar to the picture below.
