I thought that I would post some musically related spanking GIFs, to help kick off the weekend. Helped by a little spanking related music, just to get you in the mood, as you peruse the GIFs. This is an oldie, I and many others have posted it before, but I have not seen it around for a while.
Hear My Name By Armand Van Helden
Put the heat in the seat by spanking to the beat 🙂
This post is scheduled to go live at one minute past midnight on January first, Belgian time. At which time I will be contacting my family. And will be cracking open the whisky and wishing everyone, including your good self, a happy and prosperous New Year. Let us hope that it is better than the last two.
So let’s stir it up
Spread the sparkle
Practice some Covid-19 safe kissing
And Sing In The New Year
This is not the right way to sing this song. It should be sung drunk, loudly and La La ing most of the words, not because you have forgotten them, but because you never learned them in the first place. Still, this is a beautiful version.
After the holiday revels, what happened at the office party, the profanity used in front of great aunt Maud, after a few too many sherries and a whole host of other Christmas and New Year Gaffs, what guy would not be better off for a bit of soul cleansing, by a disciplinarian? And that is what it looks like this guy is doing, so he can go into the start of the year with a clear conscience.
A Four Wheeled Sex Machine
This song is funny, but even more funny is the story behind the song. The artists explain what happened before they start singing. Let’s just say that you don’t need a Ferrari to turn a girl on. 🙂
Take a leading Classical Musician, add a Blue Grass Singer. Mix in some Celtic Folk instruments and bake in a traditional Irish Carol. And the result is…
The Wexford Carol
And Things Are Better Than Expected
I was not planning to do a Coronavirus, Belgium update before Christmas, but things are looking relatively good here and it is a change from the usual misery. The new restrictions, introduced about three weeks ago, seem to be working and the reproduction rate of the virus has fallen to an impressive 0.76. All the other bad numbers seem to be on the decline too. For more details, take a look at the following link.
Omicron is now accounting for just over a quarter of new infections, in Belgium. It looks like it will become dominant over the Delta variant, but it is not yet causing a rise in the overall figures. More about that in the following link.
The consultative committee met on Wednesday 22nd of December and further restrictions are to be introduced, to restrain the spread of the virus by the more infectious Omicron version. Hopefully these will be enough to continue the downward trend of the spread of the virus and avoid the need to go back into a full lockdown. Link below for new restrictions.
I am due for my booster on the 29th of December and will be getting Moderna this time, the first two were Pfizer. A bit of good news has improved my mood, especially as I look at the surrounding nations and realize that just enough was done here just in time. I hope that other lands can get to the same place as us, in a short time.
It is not the Christmas miracle that you see in the movies, but it is better than I had feared and deserves a quote from the Christmas movie that I hate the most.
On Christmas Eve, before the pandemic, myself and other members of the family would gather round a piano and sing Christmas songs and carols. It was not as picturesque as it might sound, as much alcohol would have been consumed by then. It was more like a bunch of wassailers who could not be bothered to go out, rather than the Victorian Christmas scene that you might imagine. I always sang Silent night in Flemish, not to show off but because I can never remember the words in English, when I have had a few too many. Here it is sung by Enya, in Irish Gaelic.
Well, If You Did Not Want Me To Warm You Up. You Should Have Stopped Complaining About Being Cold
An Old But Still Popular Christmas Song
The first documented score of this song is from the 1580s. A version made it into the UK charts, in the 1970s and it is still a well known Christmas classic. Over 440 years and people still want to listen to it. It must be good 🙂
