THE SUNDAY SWISHING – AND FLANDERS UNMASKED

Turn That Frown Upside Down

Time To Show Your Face

As of Friday, October the first, facemasks are no longer required in many places, such as shops and restaurants in Flanders. They are still required in some circumstances, including, on public transport or when visiting a close contact professional, like a hairdresser. This rule change does not apply for the whole of Belgium. Wallonia and Brussels region are keeping the face mask rules as they are, for the moment. You can read more about this in the link below

Flemish Vaccination Centres To Remain Open

The decision to close all the vaccination centres in Flanders, on October 15th, has been reversed. Many vaccination centres will remain open until the end of 2021. This is because it has been decided to give the over 65s a third booster shot and the vaccination centres will be used for this, For more information follow the link below

THE SUNDAY SWISHING – AND LAST CHANCE FOR VACCINATION IN FLANDERS

This Was Not The Horse Riding Lesson That She Expected

Get Your First Coronavirus Shot By The 10th Of September

The COVID-19 vaccination centres, in Flanders, are closing on the 15th of October. Therefore, if you are living in Flemish Belgium, you must book in for your first vaccination shot before the 10th of September, if you wish to use one of these centres. You can read more about this in the following link

FLEMISH VACCINATION CENTRES ARE CLOSING

I have no idea what the procedure would be for getting vaccinated after this date, but having been vaccinated in my local centre, I can attest to it being a simple and easy procedure. I would recommend using your local vaccination centre in Flanders, whilst the option is still available

THE SUNDAY SWISHING – AND BELGIUM IN THE BALANCE

Happy At Her Task

COVID-19, Belgium – The Fight Is On

The Delta variant has taken a strong hold in Belgium and the bad numbers have been rising, thankfully slowly. On the other hand, on Wednesday 28th of July 2021 we reached the magic number of 70% of the adult population being fully vaccinated (double jabbed). This is the point at which most of those in the know here, predicted that the vaccine would bring a turning point in the progression of the Coronavirus. I am, as I expect many others are too, waiting with bated breath to see if these predictions were correct. The proof is now, as they say, in the pudding and all that is left to do is wait and see what happens in the next few weeks

SATURDAY’S SORE SEAT – AND BELGIUM FLOODS AND PLAGUE

But It Was Time That We Got A New Car Anyway

Floods Belgium

There seems to have been a lot on the news about the flooding in Germany, but the international news community only now seem to be catching on to the fact that these floods also hit Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and The Netherlands.

Luckily for me, these floods did not hit where I live. The worst flooding, in Belgium, seems to be along the river Maas (Meuse), with the city of Liege (Luik) being the worst effected. Although many other towns and areas were very badly flooded and damaged. As I write this (Friday 16th of July), the death toll stands at 20, for Belgium, but unfortunately this will increase. European Union cooperation has been initiated and to date, 150 rescue workers from France, Austria and Italy have arrived in the country to help in the rescue effort.

The area of the river Maas (Meuse) and the Ardennes are popular tourist destinations. Both have suffered heavily and are in a state of emergency. Anyone who was planning to take a holiday in these areas, over the next few weeks, would be well advised to choose another destination.

COVID-19 Belgium

I have been watching the bad numbers for Coronavirus plummet, in Belgium, for weeks now. I was planning to do a happy post about this as we had the first day, since the start of the pandemic, with zero deaths from the disease. This did occur on the 7th of July and again on the 10th. But at the same time, the Delta variant took hold on the country and infections started to rise rapidly. So that scuppered my happy news day. Hospitalization rates are rising, thankfully very slowly, and the death rate is staying low, with an average of two a day. The vaccination program in Belgium has speeded up and is proceeding at an impressive rate. At the moment, it seems to be a race between the Delta variant and the vaccination program. This race is very “Neck and neck” at this time. There was to be a meeting of the consultative committee on Friday, 16th of July, to decide on tightening or loosening restrictions. This has been postponed until Monday, 19th July because of the emergency situation with the floods. If you would like to see more details, please follow the link below

BLOG CALENDAR – THE JULY PAGE – AND A MESSAGE FROM RED OF CONSENSUAL SPANKING

The Blog Calendar For July

For July, it is the turn of a male recipient to be shown on the Blog Calendar. And it is a lucky guy who has someone so happy to spank him. I can’t but help think that she has him the wrong way around on her lap, though. Still it is a good image to celebrate the month.

Some News About Consensual Spanking

A little while ago I said Goodbye to the blog Consensual Spanking in this post

CONSENSUAL SPANKING GOODBYEEEE

At the time, it looked like I was premature in wishing this blog farewell, but unfortunately it turns out that this blog is gone for good. Which I learned about from a comment left on this blog. I suspect that some of you might have heard via another social media outlet about this, but I only have enough time for blogs. So for those of you, like me, who get your updates via blogs, I thought that I would post what Red had to say about the situation here. The comment read……

Hi Prefectdt:

Thank you for such very kind and thoughtful words. Really nice to read, and thank you to Roz, Hermione, KDPierre, Morningstar, and naughty Nora.

Sadly, the blog is gone forever. I did ask, but they replied: “We have reviewed your request regarding your account red.often@yahoo.com and confirmed that you have violated our Terms of Service. Therefore, we will not reinstate your account.

Please refer to our Terms of Service for more information about our policies and the actions that we take in response to policy violations on our products.

I have thought of starting a blog on WordPress, and have posted once at

consensualspanking.wordpress.com

however, it is rather liberating to actually stop posting!

I have said all that I ever wanted to say on the topic of spanking, and related activities, and can now drop by other people’s blogs whenever the mood strikes. This is much more difficult, because either I bookmark the sites (not something I want to do), or I have to use a email with all the sites to click on to get to. A royal pain in the bottom

In addition, Google is blocking me from leaving a comment as red.often@yahoo.com, so I have to use anonymous.

So, Happy trails to everyone was how I was ending the blog, with Roy rogers and Dale Evans singing the song, until we meet again.

bottoms up
Red.

All the best to Red and Cindy and I hope we see you around the blogs, from time to time
