I have always regarded myself as a responsible smoker, respecting the rights for non smokers to have areas where they are free of secondary smoke and supporting measures to reduce the pressures on the young to take up smoking. But in Western Europe all reasonable measures for for these ends have already been taken and the anti smoking lobby has become home to the undesirable and bigoted elements of society who just want to find a group of people that they can persecute. These xenophobic types, unfortunately, are degrading the image of what should be a justified and worthy cause, that of reducing the numbers of smokers in society (which even as a smoker I support). I would like to give up smoking but as I do not wish to share in the image that the non smoking community has at the moment, I find that it is unwise to even try to be a non smoker, UNTIL THE PERSECUTION STOPS.

HOW THE ANTI SMOKING LOBBY LOOKS TO REASONABLE PEOPLE NOW

To all the non smokers and anti smokers (and I include myself as an anti smoker, especially where the young are concerned) who support reasonable and justifiable actions to discourage smoking be aware that the Xenophobes that have infiltrated our ranks are making us all look like the character above. it is up to us to separate the reasonable from the persecutors.

But I have had a few qualms and niggles over the years and when I saw THIS POST from Cassie Hunter, which I thought was a very pertinent reflection on what a potential client should not do, it did inspire me to write some points of what a pro Domme or Top should be aware of, when dealing with me as a potential client. These posts is addressed to the professionals out there but I hope that the rest of you enjoy them too. The first part was posted on Monday.

No I can’t come earlier, at short notice

And I can’t do morning appointments either. I am not being funny about this, it is just a matter of hygiene. I have never mastered the art of doing a quick colonic irrigation (and yes I have tried several different methods and equipment) and it takes me at least three hours, so I need to plan for that time. I do not want to turn up for an appointment with skid marks and I have a feeling that no Top or Domme would want me to turn up with skid marks either. So if you need to move the appointment to an earlier time of the day, I need at least a days notice, thank you very much.

Wish Lists? Get real!

You know, I have never asked for a discount or a freebie for services spanking and I never will. But realize that the going rate for services does represent a serious chunk of my budget (I’m just a working guy after all) and I am not complaining or whining about this but after shelling out a significant amount of my hard earned, I do not expect to have a begging bowl shoved under my nose. I know that some ladies do cater for financial slaves, keep your wish lists for them, I am not interested. If you want expensive presents write to Farther Christmas (Santa Clause), don’t bother me about it.

Relevant Charging

Actually I have no practical bad experiences of this at all. I have not employed the services of a pro Top or Domme for about a year but at that time prices in Belgium ranged from about €120 per hour to about €200 per hour, the difference mostly being based on facilities available. If I wished for a bare bones whupping from someone with just a usable space and few serviceable toys I would expect to be paying towards the lower rate and if I wanted to see someone with a nice range of specialist furniture and enough toys to give me that “kid in a sweet (candy) shop” feeling I expect to be paying towards the upper end of that range and in practice I have found this to be what has happened. So on this one I can say well done ladies, carry on.

I do hope that this post and it’s predecessor have not put anyone off seeing a professional, that was not the intention. These posts where intended to let a little steam out of my ears and hopefully let some of the professionals out there know the opinion of one bottom, where it comes to niggles and irritations. There are many good Tops, Dommes and Mistresses out there and I do intend to continue to seek out their services in the future.

I am a professional Horticulturalist and a very well qualified and experienced one at that, who is also bloody good at what I do. Horticulture is how I make my money, if I start giving my services away for free I will not be able to make enough money to pay for your services. I am however open to the suggestion of exchanging my skills for yours but remember I am seriously good at what I do and the exchange rate is not three working days of my time for one hour of yours (as one misguided lady suggested) but ONE HOUR OF MY TIME FOR ONE HOUR OF YOURS! And considering that nine times out of ten, I am likely to be a more experienced hortic than you are a Top/Domme, then you will be getting a bit of a bargain at that rate. An apology to Mistress Andi Switch

Before I start the rest of this post I would like to offer an apology to MISTRESS SWITCH for some comments that I made on This Post on her blog . Although I believe that the points that I raised are valid, the way in which I raised them was not acceptable and where a result of my own bad judgment in writing in anger and not waiting until I had calmed down. I was not singling out Mistress Switch in anyway, I was just reading her blog when I lost my temper, an action that I feel was wrong and am truly sorry for.

Naming and shaming

Some of you who have been reading this blog for some time may remember how I vented my disgust at the state of affairs of the F/m spanking video production industry in this post Sexism in F/m Video Production – A Damn Good Rant. Since when I have been trying to do my little bit for the cause, in a positive way, by finding and reviewing production sites that offer renumeration to their male bottoms and subs, so that responsible customers know where they can spend their money with a clear conscience, the good sites will be in a section at the end of this post. I feel this is a failed effort, after finding many many hours to search, examine and email F/m sites I have only found three spanking sites that will pay their guys.

Although I would rather follow a more positive path in my small part in this campaign (I truly would), it has become obvious to me that the only way that I can raise awareness is by being negative and so this is what I am forced to do. So this time instead of just rewriting the same rant I am going to name two companies that I believe are not paying the men that are working as bottoms/subs for them. If the situation has changed with these companies, I would be pleased and interested in learning about it.

Real Spanking Institute’s, Women Spanking Men

This site I regard as one of the worst offenders and they have some of the most distasteful conditions for their male participants. Below are some of the things that put in their advert section for male performers, which I believe many of you would find unacceptable.

Expect to sign a release and provide identification. Federal record keeping laws require us to obtain proof of age and a signed model release from everyone participating in a session. Although a session can be filmed without your face being shown or your name being used, you will sign the appropriate forms. Expect that if you want to remain anonymous, you will.

well that is a statement that the male involved will be signing a model release form and that they will be participating in a spanking shoot and not a “Free spanking session” as they stated in their advert.

Expect to travel to our studio in Denver, Colorado at your own expense. We do not charge for our services and we do not cover travel expenses for you to participate in our sessions. Please consider this when applying for a punishment.

Yep, they are not even prepared to pay travel costs, instead of a modeling fee, the male model will definitely be out of pocket, unless he lives in walking or cycling distance.

Yes well I think that one speaks for itself as for the attitude they have to the guys who appear for them.

I will not join

Not only their F/m sites but any sites that they run. The only way to stop this unreasonable attitude is to make it unprofitable. I would question the attitude of anyone who would join these sites or any like them, knowing how they are ripping off the guys who are working for them and how they are insulting their members by offering them material made under these conditions.

The Good Guys and Gals

There are spanking sites that pay their guys and the three that I have found are, Full Force productions (at least they where paying their lads I hope they still are), Clare Fonda’s spanking site group and Shadow Lane. I have reviewed Clare Spanks Men and The Montrose Academy but Have not joined Shadow Lane because I think it might be more effective to buy one of their DVDs and review that, as they seem to specialize more in DVD production. On a good note I have been contacted and informed that a major BDSM producer, that used to use volunteers, have changed their policy and now pay their guys for F/m productions. As a spanko I do not know how good I will be at reviewing a BDSM site but next month, I will be joining and reviewing this site.
