THE SUNDAY SWISHING โ€“ AND THE GREAT GRANDWHATEVER OF ALL CHRISTMAS SONGS

Well, If You Did Not Want Me To Warm You Up. You Should Have Stopped Complaining About Being Cold

An Old But Still Popular Christmas Song

The first documented score of this song is from the 1580s. A version made it into the UK charts, in the 1970s and it is still a well known Christmas classic. Over 440 years and people still want to listen to it. It must be good ๐Ÿ™‚

THE SUNDAY SWISHING – AND ON CHRISTMAS

God, Spank Ye Merry Gentleman

Christmas – I’m Not Feeling It

This is the first Christmassy post that I have made this year, apart from the December calendar and that is because I just don’t seem to be able to get into the spirit of the season. It looked like I was going to get my annual trip to the UK this year, to see my family and then all the plans went Omicron and travel restrictions to and from the UK look too ify to risk. So it is a second Christmas alone in Belgium. Not to put a downer on anyone else, this blog will start to have some Christmassy stuff on it. In the spirit of fake it until you make it. On the upside, it looks as though we might have turned a corner, with the numbers here, unless it is just a downward blip. Latest figures in the link
