TUESDAY’S TANTALIZING TUSHY – AND A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Don’t Forget To Fill Those Stockings

Silent Night In Irish Gaelic

On Christmas Eve, before the pandemic, myself and other members of the family would gather round a piano and sing Christmas songs and carols. It was not as picturesque as it might sound, as much alcohol would have been consumed by then. It was more like a bunch of wassailers who could not be bothered to go out, rather than the Victorian Christmas scene that you might imagine. I always sang Silent night in Flemish, not to show off but because I can never remember the words in English, when I have had a few too many. Here it is sung by Enya, in Irish Gaelic.

TUESDAY’S TANTALIZING TUSHY – AND A LITTLE CHRISTMAS CAROL

How To Stop Him Peeking At His Present

And Just Because I Like It

I have always liked The Carol Of The Bells. But it seems to hint at the dark side of Christmas. It is easy to imagine Darth Vader and The Storm Trooper Choir singing this at the Death Star Christmas party
